Ladies and gents, as we all know, la famila has decided to make a surprise trip (kononnya) to the west side of Malaysia. Oh but not only there, but to OSTORALIA! (sic.)
I have managed to land my hooves on the land of the kangaroos and ninjas. Yes. Australia. O Australia. (do not ask why ninjas)
Anyway, we’ll go step by step on how I suddenly appeared in Australia. (no I did not teleport, sadly).
STEP 1: Blend the ice along with vanilla ice-cream

Oh wait.
Just a little F.Y.I : I’m awesome.
But a serious F.Y.I is that this entire trip starts from the 11th and ends on the 26th of December 2009. That’s a whopping 15 days out of Miri. Anyway, I’ll try to just give a brief explanation on what happened each days. If you really wanna know what happened, check out my sister’s blog.
Day 1
We departed to Kuala Lumpur late late late at night, which was around 10pm and we arrived the next day, literally, at 12am 12th December. Took a taxi to my aunt’s place somewhere in Gombak.
That night I couldn’t sleep because God knows why, I had no idea. I guess it must be the “Internets”. I noticed that Celcom Broadband really works wonders in the West side. Oh Celcom, when will you really become awesome in the East side (more specifically, Sarawak). So I decided to stay low, do not reveal I have internet access, and just surf the internet like a normal human being.
Since I had nothing better to do that night/morning, this is what I was doing.

Background is The Late Show with David Letterman. And in-set is Facebook.
Because I could not seriously sleep that night. Either way, I eventually gave in to the sleepiness and fell flat on the floor, literally.
Day 2
We went off to Lowyat to search for my sister’s digi-cam. She wanted a camera that is able to go underwater. Any camera is able to do that. Just chuck one in and there it is, underwater.
Jokes aside, she wanted the Fujifilm WP33Z something (sic.). Went around and eventually found her camera. I didn’t really like it though because of the picture quality. But hell, THAT CAMERA CAN TAKE FISHIES UNDERWATER! My camera loses D:
So then off to Shikiya we ate. Sammon and shooshee.

After that we went off to Pasar Seni just to accompany my parents to walk around there. Didn’t really like walking around Pasar Seni. We were finding a place to exchange currency to Aussie dollars also.
Did we walk to Sogo or took a train to Sogo? This I don’t remember. But somehow we ended up in Sogo. Mom went on a shopping frenzy and I could have bought The Game of Life. Dangit. I still curse my decision to not buy, eventhough I won’t be playing it at all, but RM99 for it is an amazing steal, from it’s initial price RM160. *rage*
Either way, we went out to Jalan Masjid India to one of the shops, I can’t remember the name. I had to wait outside while I just took random snapshots which didn’t really look good. I was tired, grumpy, tired, and hungry. D:
Anyway, tapaued some Fried Rice and went back to theĀ apartment.
Fell flat on the floor and slept.
Day 3
Well on this day, a friend of a friend of mine, Atiqah decided we should meet up. So I had to take the KTM to Cheras and meet her there.

Such a ronery road. D:
Once I’d meet her, I would get a job becoming a guide/GPS and navigate our asses to Lowyat.
On the way, we got stuck in a jam and we didn’t know where we were going. We were only praying that we could somehow manage to arrive Berjaya Times Square.
And we actually made it.

Berjaya Times Square looks… so… gloomy..
Anyway.
We eventually made it to Lowyat, and at the same time she wanted to see another friend, who is also my friend’s friend. :o
I accidentally know a lot of people. :o

This is not one of them.
So that night, after finished meeting up with Atiqah, she drove me to Berjaya, but before that we were on a journey to find a petrol station, up all the way from Lowyat to Damansara, with the petrol indicator blinking. Zomagad.
So then she sent me off, and bye bye I said to her. It was fun though to be a passenger/guide/GPS in KL. HAVOC SIALLL. You need fast decision making skills and an amazing eyesight because you need to see the bloody signs from 300m to get a clear idea which lane you need to be going.
Adoi pengsan. Anyway, that night I rushed all the way to BB Plaza to eat, because my dad ordered me some Nasi Goreng Pedas. So run run run, makan makan makan, then took a taxi back to Gombak. fell flat on the floor and slept.
Day 4
This is the day, where I shall wave goodbye to Tanah Airku and will fly to Australia! But that morning, my sister, my cousin/uncle and I went to KLCC and catch a very awesome cartoon movie, Princess and the Frog. It’s been a while since I’ve watched such movie.
Usually it’s all those 3D CGI stuffs, but this is back to basics yo. I love it. 11/10. (well of course, this is from my point of view).
Aha. Then also, I managed to snagged a pair of kicks! Nike shoes.

At the same time I also bought the red laces. My RM15 is going to save lives! Yeaaaay!
So yeah, finally we took a taxi to the LCCT airport, got stuck in the jam for a while. One particular event during the trip was while the taxi driver was talking to my dad, from “bang”, he suddenly called my dad “uncle”.
Pelik. It wasn’t even 1 hour later. Just a few minutes after calling him “bang”, he called him “uncle”. Weird f’ler.
SO THAT NIGHT, IT’S OFF TO AUSSIELAND WE GO! Using AirAsia X. Sakai a bit. First time riding AirAsia X.

Queuing up for Gold Coast baybeh! We also met a familiar face in the departure hall. Maharaja Syafiq (as his facebook name says) is also on the same flight to Gold Coast!
What are the odds. Cun cun malam tu I was reading his status mentioning that he’s off to Australia. Didn’t expect it to be the same flight as us. Hohoho.
So yeah, boarded the plane, sat down and first thing we noticed was,
/jakun@sakaimoment on
WAO TOUCH SCREEN SEYHH.

*pokepokepokepokepoke*
WOH WOH WOH AND ADA AND ADA

YOU ASS BEE PORT!
/jakun@sakaimoment off
Padahal baru je start to sit down.
It’s a routine that each time the family uses AirAsia to somewhere, it is a must that I sneak in and prepurchase a meal for myself :D
Tapi this time. I got conned big time.
Usually it’s just a gigantic delicious hot dog (well now that I know it’s only served on local flights) but on international flights like this, we are served, as the menu says, Bruce Besar’s Ayam BBQ Berasap @ Big Bruce’s Smokey BBQ Chicken.
On picture, God daym it looks delicious.
But.
YES YOU SAW THAT COMING, A BUT.
The real deal?

You be the judge. I rather eat Pak Nasser’s Nasi Lemak than this. APA INI FRIDGE VEGGIES!? Potato’s fine. CHICKEN PUN SECIPUT JE.
*rage*
But either way I was hungry so gasak je la.
Also, I recalled that on AirAsia flights, Krispy Kreme doughnuts are being served. My sister bought a box, containing two doughnuts.

To be honest, ever since the Batam Incident as I like to call it, I dislike doughnuts such as these kinds. I prefer my mom’s doughnuts. One shot gobble gobble nom nom sugary goodness! Iye iye I know, SUGAR BANYAK GILER. It’s once in a while only la. It’s not like she serves it every single day.
Anyway, back to the doughnuts. Didn’t like it.
OOOOKAY.
So it took us 6-8 hours of hardcore sitting and farting and finally, we arrived at Coolangatta Airport @ Gold Coast Airport!

Okay I know. Wataffak is dis shittu? Not the best view, yes. This is kilometers after the airport lol.
I didn’t take a picture of the airport because, well, I was psyched. I MEAN OMEGAD AUSSIELAND! Either way you can just Google the damn airport and see how it looks like for yourself.
WHAT HAPPENS IN AUSSIELAND?!
I’ll do it in another post, in a bit, yeah?

aha. i could be there last year. oh well, next time we go again, mok?
