Let’s talk Foundation.

OT: I have now 444 posts in The Kambing Farm (not including this). WHAAAT.

Anyway. Let’s talk foundation shall we!

As of today, I am panicking and going apeshit about my coming results. Seriously, I’ve never felt doubtful about myself as bigger as this (is the sentence even correct? oh man i’m panicking, i can’t type proper a sente- OH THERE WE GO AGAIN).

In Foundation of Information Technology in Curtin Semester 2, I am taking 6 units, which are:

1) Effective Communicating Skills

2) Physics II

3) Engineering Mathematics II

4) Programming in C++ II

5) Programming in Java

6) Islamic Studies

So among these units, can you guess which units I am panicking hard?

Physics and Engineering Maths.

AJJAJAJAJAJA

The other units I’m not so concerned of because I did pretty well for the final exam (which was 2 weeks back, it is a sunday after all).

Let’s go through each units one by one, yes?

1) Effective Communicating Skills

For my group discussion, I think I got 29 out of 40, which is not bad I guess, and my impromptu speech, I got 19 out of 20 (woot). So which means I have 48/100 so far. Basically, I just need 2 more marks to pass. My individual presentation went fine, except for a few powerpoint last-minute mess-ups, but it was okay, nonetheless.

Rating: GOOD

2) Physics II

AAAAAAAAAAAAA.

Earlier on in the semester, me and my mates kept saying, “Oh, easy 20 marks la for the lab, yadda yadda yadda,” and oh how wrong we were.

I got only 35 (but actually 34.85) for my internal marks out of 60. And in order to pass, (since the passing marks for Curtin is 50), I need to get at least 15 marks more for my final exam.

But my final exam is out of 40. So, OMEGAD. In the exams, I need to get at least 37.5 out of 100 (WHICH IS REALISTICALLY IMPOSSIBLE SINCE I DON’T KNOW JACK ABOUT PHYSICS OMG HELP). Because I screwed up my final exam, HARD, IN THE BUTT (what what in the butt). ;_;

Rating: AAAAAAAAAA.

3) Engineering Mathematics II

I still have no idea why I am panicking over this unit. Seriously. After I finished the exam, I was so down, so moody, so emo. Maybe because of the fact that I LEFT SECTION B AND C COMPLETELY EMPTY.

Anyway. As for the objectives part, I happily, and confidently answered all of them, hopefully most of them are correct (BECAUSE I SERIOUSLY DEPEND ON OBJECTIVES NOW. HALP).

So, internal marks, if I’m not mistaken, I got 44 out of 50.

Not bad I guess. I HOPE.

Final exam is 50 marks, so I need to get 6 marks more, which is 12 out of 100. BUT I STILL AM PANICKING I DON’T KNOW WHY. SORRY MDM. JANE LAU! I FAILED YOU! ;_;

Rating: WUT.

4) Programming in C++ II

This unit, I’m not that afraid of much, because it’s my favourite subject, yay!

Well, internal marks I got 45.5 out of 50, final exam, I blacked out a bit, but I managed to do the questions.

Rating: Meh.

5) Programming in Java

Java, I love you so much. Internal marks, I got 47.5, so I need, ah you can count, can you?

Exams was okay, but I got the first question wrong. OMG MR. FOAD I’M SO SORRY! IT WAS AN OVERCONFIDENCE MISTAKE!

Rating: Okay I guess.

6) Islamic Studies

Well, only one thing was running through my mind, JUST PASS.

And just pass I did. Internal marks I got 51, surprisingly. Jap, double check. Yep 51. Thanks to Nazri and everyone else in the group.

Exams was okay la I guess. Too many common sense questions.

Rating: Ala, dah pass.

Overall rating: I NEED HELP!!!
