You know, just recently I found out that in Rock Band, there’s a DLC with a Spongebob Squarepants song.
It’s called “Best Day Ever”
Song goes like this,
I always thought I could relate my life to this song.
AU CONTRAIRE. (which means on the contrary)
Today, and every other day before this, was the worse days of my April.
The only good news is that I actually get to fully utilize my camera, as I’ve been appointed (somehow) as an official (maybe) photographer for the Curtin yearbook (maybe).
So, I’ve been asked to cover Degree and Foundation Graduation ceremony, and also Open Day, took lots of pictures. So, in my hard disk right now, I have 2,000 pics (combined events) waiting to be separated and to be given soon.
That’s the only good news.
What’s happened to me for the past few days,
1. My computer broke down, AGAIN
Out of nowhere, my computer just decided to die on me. Upon waking up from my sleep, I was given a black screen saying,
“load needed DLL’s for kernel”
Checked Uncle Google, and apparently, it’s an error where by I have to access the recovery console and enter these commands, fixboot, fixmbr, chkdsk /r and bootcfg /rebuild.
But, once I did that, nothing worked.
So final solution, which is also another thing that happened to me,
2. Wasted RM5 to get a pirated CD, which didn’t work
I swear to God, I will never resort to purchasing a CD when it comes to programs. I bought a Windows CD, and the CD never did boot up properly. It was screwed up.
So, here’s a little advertisement.
Do not support Piracy purchasing CDs!
Anyhoo. Since I got pissed off, thank goodness for my newly purchased laptop (which I’ve yet to introduce, I’ll do so in the next post, even though it sounds unnecessary, but what the hay), I managed to acquire it, and burned it onto an empty CD, and here comes event number 3.
3. Wasted 2 perfectly empty CD-R burning the same software, which did not work at all
GAH. Self-explanatory. I actually snapped both CDs in half out of major anger. I really need to go for anger management. I had to wait for another night, and get another different copy of Windows and finally it boots up.
And here comes event number 4.
4. Even doing the recovery console commands does not work.
AAAAHHH. End up had to do a clean new installation of Windows, but upon installing, my sound card driver refuses to work. Therefore,
REFORMAT!
This is where I really feel that partitions are made of win. Luckily I created partitions on my 1TB hard disk, and so Windows is installed in a separate partition, while the others are created for Games, Softwares, Downloaded stuffs, Pictures, etc. etc. etc., even I have no idea what my partitions are used for.
So finally, positive event 1: My pc is fixed. NASGHGJKLN!
But this time,
My life problems was not only related to computer.
5. I got poor marks for my Physics Quiz 1.
Meh. That’s all I gotta say. Physics is not really my favourite subject. So. Meh. I have to study more. But this semester, I seem to (kinda) like Physics compared to last semester. I don’t know why. Hm.
But event 6, was the mother of all problems, which gave me a very hard time.
6. My car overheat.
I have to admit, this was my fault. It’s been a while since I’ve checked the water for the radiator coolant. Last Monday, while driving back from StratOS’s Computer shop located somewhere along the Miri Bypass (free ad!), I saw my junior driving at the back, and all of a sudden, my campus mate started to complain about how hot the air-conditioner was, (and apparently, he noticed it even when I started the engine way back at the shop). Suddenly, the air-conditioner started to become hot, and I checked the meter, it showed it was H.
HOLY HELL.
And what luck, I actually stopped right in front of a car servicing shop.
Checked the radiator and there was no liquid (or coolant for that fact). To think that I actually stopped in front of a car servicing shop. It’s located next to Toasthouse, just F.Y.I.
Bought a bottle of coolant and asked the person working there to fill it it. But when he was filling it in, he started to check the car thoroughly.
Was wondering at that time, how hard can filling in a coolant be?
He came up to my friend, and told him something,
My friend (nah I mention your name, Chin) came up to me, and he said,
“Your fan busted.”
NEH!?
My fan? My radiator fan?
Then I started to have flashbacks. Fiuuu~
The night of the Curtin Open Day, my car started smoking, and I thought that it was normal, because it was coming out right near my car light, so I thought it was the haze or something. Drove off.
Anyway, I panicked.
Yes ladies and gentlemen. I panicked.
PEE AY ENN EYE SEE KAY EE DEE.
PANICKDE!
I kept calling my dad’s trusted workshop guy, but no answer at all. The person working at the car service shop offered me to call his workshop, but he will charge me and then the workshop will charge me too. WTH. No thx.
So I thought, once the car cools down, I’ll be able to drive short distances. But I was wrong. I called Chin (as he already was on the way back with his friend who picked him up) and he picked me up, and we went to my dad’s trusted workshop. Met up with one of the guys there, and I chatted with him, one of the engineers (or is that what you call them) for about 30 minutes or so. The tauke’s son came and we went to my car, parked in front of Toast House. (apparently someone saw that little car breakdown event. ALAMAK. You! Forget whatever you saw! Forget! Forget!) So he did some minor tweaking, and he said the car’s okay, but we had to drive back to the workshop and he was working on the car until 6pm. Finally, the car’s 100% fixed!
Or so I thought…
7. My car overheats, AGAIN.
Today, my car overheats, and apparently, 4 days after filling in the coolant, it was empty again. WUTS. I didn’t expect it to finish THAT fast. It was 7 p.m. and the workshop is, well, obviously closed at that time. So I had to call my mom, and asked her to bring a bottle of water and radiator coolant. I was sitting in the car, thinking how “lucky” I was this week, and a few minutes later, she came, and start to give me a lecture on how I should have sent the car to the workshop again this morning, yak yak yak bla bla bla. ;_; But at the same time it’s nice to know that there are people (apart from family) who are concerned for me. Thanks! Se-really-iously appreciate it.
Filled in coolant and water, car cooled down, and I drove back, which brings me to final two events,
8. I drove without my lights on just now.
ALAMAK.
9. I have pimples on my head.
(ALAMAK)² = ALAMAK x ALAMAK
10. I have headaches.
Huu. :(
But apart from these downs, there were a few ups during this so-called marvelous week.
1. I got a new laptop, which was 2 weeks ago.
2. I’m taking pictures for the Curtin Yearbook.
3. I GET TO SEE THE PEHIN UP CLOSE.
I c u lol.
GOD BLESS THE PEHIN!

Woah~! taib madah, “uh silau”
