You just can’t escape them.

TEH ECLIPSE!

Monday, January 26th, 2009

Ow. My eyes hurt.

But what the hell. I actually managed to see the eclipse for the first time in my life! (i think)

From Pujut 4C, here’s the eclipse!

Click on them to see a slighter bigger view of them.

These were taken from 5:30pm-ish until 6:30pm-ish.

I think I actually missed the best part of the eclipse. Haih.

Zaty’s wedding

Sunday, January 25th, 2009

Oh wait. Let me get rephrase that.

Zaty’s SISTER’S wedding. Eheh.

So I was invited to Zaty’s sister’s wedding (or akad nikah) yesterday, and it was held at her house.

Well, it’ll feel weird to go alone, so I dragged Andrew along (well, he was invited too anyways).

We arrived around 11am-ish. Kinda late though (I think).

Well, there was lots of people attending the wedding, so it was pretty crowded in her house.

KL trip, yet again.

Sunday, January 18th, 2009

Aiyak. Going to KL too many times is kind of boring and repetitive, but what to do, parents want to go.

I used to make a long ass essay about trips, (come to think of it, my Bali trip post wasn’t finished yet. Woops.) but for this case, I’d just make a short and simple post, explaining what I met or who I did. Eh. I mean what I did or who I met.

So…

What happened eh. I forgot.

Oh yes. For the first time in my very masculine life, I actually went shopping for clothes.

FOR CLOTHES! LIEK OMG.

I bought shiatloads of Giordano-branded clothes. My sister kept saying, “Aiyah in Miri got wat”. I didn’t believe her, but now I do. *shy*

But oh well. I bought them anyway, they look nice too, and cheap!

Apart from clothes, this has to be the first time I bought myself more flatcaps. You know the one’s I’m known to wear around everyday? Yes, those kinds.

Heavy rain strikes my kampung

Sunday, January 18th, 2009

Well, as Sarawakians, we all know that last week was the most disastrous week to go out golfing, fishing, or even washing your car (which I keep on delaying by giving the reason, hujan, and it was accepted by my dad. YES PROCRASTINATION! But he was angry at me for not vacuuming the car :/ ).

So, last week, right after I picked my sister up from the airport after her trip to Pangkor Island, my dad called me and said, “Mal….where…..you….back…”

I kept shouting WHUT!?

Once I arrived home, my mom was back from work, EARLY, and my dad was there too, and he said that,

“Kampung banjir.”

And all I can think was, oh snap.

Packed some stuffs, brought some tools, even a drill (for what I still have no idea up to this day) and off to kampung we go!
