Last Saturday (dated 11th October 2008), CIS organized an Eid Mubarak Celebration & Annual Dinner at Curtin, at the LT Foyer.
Oh man, it was just infested with mosquitoes. Every single moment, I’d be scratching my thighs, my legs, my arms. Hurr. *scratch scratch scratch*.
Well, I and Wani came late on that day. Woops. Sorry. My bad guys.
Very the cun, once we arrived, it was makan session! Yay.
Quite a lot of people went there la, most of them I know, and most of them I do not. (but my sister knows them. :/)

There were quite a few people who was busy organizing the projects and stuffs.
For example,
Nazri and,
Mamat as the food servers for the men’s side.
Syaha and Hafiz as penunggu di tepi tiang.
Najwa and the other ladies as food server(s) for the ladies side.
Shahul and,
Deklin as,
the emcees for the night.
Aju was busy looking at people eating.
Anyway while eating, there was a performance going on, featuring Mamat, Nazri, Hafiz, and the other CIS members.
Mamat tak pandai berlakon siot. Aper la. Hahahaha!
After the performance (I might have missed something before this, woops. Forgive me if I did.), it was lucky draw time!

“Tiada tiada?”

Oh, ada winner.

Actually, one of the prizes was accidently exposed to everyone.
It was a penyapu. Lol.
I wasn’t really aware at that time.
So since everyone else knew the prize, one section of the crowd started shouting, “Penyapu! Penyapu! Penyapu!” when the winner goes up and select a prize.
And once, an international student was selected as a lucky draw winner, they shouted, “Broom! Broom! Broom!”.
D’oh!
After lucky draw session 1 ended, I was told by Nazri that they were going to sing that night.
And sing they did.
Well, not exactly did he sing, but only provided sound effects, as only Syafiq was singing that night.
Ketum ketak ketum ketak. Chika chika chika chika.
Sedap la Syafiq’s voice. Rugi to anyone who didn’t came that night (but lucky, because it was sesi menderma darah :()
Everyone looked amazed with their performance (I think).
“DIAAAAA ISABELLAAAAA LAMBANG CINTAAAAA YANG LAAARAAA”.
Anyway, the whole performance was based on a Youtube video, Neo Selawat if I’m not mistaken. Tapi, CIS punya rendition of Neo Selawat is MUCH MUCH better than Youtube version. But one part yang slack was at the ending. Dah sedap syok dengar, climax of the song, Syafiq stop, tengok lirik, and sambung.

Yep, and the day was done. Sesi bersalam-salam with everyone else, saying Happy Eid Mubarak/Selamat Hari Raya/Sir Lump Mud Hurry Rear Year.

A confession for the event, the food were below average, not that good la. :\ I was expecting something more better. But what to do, on a strict budget la kan? (I think).
I am the worst-dressed male of the night. :|
Seriously, I need to find a hat that is a kopiah/beret. Is there any such thing?
