Especially when you have no experience in doing it. (well, maybe a wee bit experience la, during Form 2 ,was it? Soldering boards, nyeheheh, and I never did pass. :( ).
I just had this crazy idea, since my speakers was 5.1 channel, I thought, hey! I might as well mount them on the walls, since my dad borrowed a drill from his friend. Ja!
So off I went to Parkson, get myself 20m of cap ayam cables (oh I don’t know how long it will last, god knows) and off I go! Fixing and fixing, soldering and soldering, burning and burning.

Wires everywhere. Even a battery is in the shot.
Just to clear your curiosity, i’m using a Labtec 5.1 speaker, I “bought” it last 2 years (or was it last year. Hmm) and the speakers was placed in random spots. How I got this idea, when my uncle came from Singapore, he said to me, “I think you should mount them on the wall lah, it will sound much better, you should place it in Location X and then you place this at Location Y.” (something like that :p)

Speaker before operation.
Since this was a last minute decision, so I had to do everything in my room. Even soldering in my room. (I started the job at 7pm.)

My tiny leetle workplace.
If you noticed, the tin box was used as a place to put the soldering iron in. As for the ashtray, I don’t smoke. Betul. I tak smoke.
A junk in a box
Just for your info, before this there were cookie crumbs in it and the soldering iron was burning the crusts so when I lift it up, it smells like burnt biscuit.

A lame PC and a subwoofer.

RED AND BLACK!
Yes, I had to write down which one goes to which one. D:. So what, lol.
Hold on, nice photo coming up.

*ding*
Now my work was made easier thanks to…

TADA!
An electric screwdriver. HUZZAH! HUZZAH!
Anyhoo, job is almost done here. I got the wires soldered, and now all is left is to hang them on the wall.
It’s…..messy?
Need….sleep…
But this isn’t my only job. I got another job waiting for me outside of the house, and it involves drilling. AIE! More work.
EL EDITO:
Ah, 2nd day and finally (somehow) finished my 5.1 speaker setup.
My room, messy as ever

I finally finished this god damn job at night. After drilling holes, and screwing the mounts in. Well, it’s not exactly a mount, it’s a hinge lol. (my mom bought la, she didn’t mention that it’s a hinge, lol. She kept saying it’s a T something). Well, can’t blame her. Best mom in the universe. :D

*schwing*
It looks stable at first. Then, once I put the speakers on it.

emo speakers lol
The speakers, due to the weight, is facing downards now. Aiseh. But my mom has an idea (to cover up her mistakes, :p). And now it looks much much better. No need for pictures, you can imagine how it looks like.
Right now my room is still in a mess, and I need to clean the place up.Clip the wires, etc. etc. etc.
Woot.
